The Saturday Boutique Details

The Saturday Boutiques will begin Saturday, April 17, 2010 and will be held EVERY Saturday  from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. All Booths are 3x6 with electricity provided. Vendors MUST have someone at their booth at all times.

Set up will begin Friday, April 16 from 4-8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 8-9 a.m. Vendors must provide their own booth set up including table, though there will be tables available to rent. Rented tables are first come, first serve.


Vendor Rules and Regulations:
Mackenzie's Playhouse, hereinafter referred to as “Mackenzie's Playhouse,” leases spaces for the exhibition, sales and distribution of products, services, information and other items of business. Lease agreements are embodied in contracts (of which these Rules and Regulations are part of) providing for the use and occupancy of certain small spaces of real property and referred to as “spaces.” Any company, partnership, institution, or individual over 18 years of age, hereinafter referred to as “VENDOR,” may apply for a space. These rules and regulations define the conduct of the VENDOR and how the leased spaces are used. Mackenzie's Playhouse reserves the right to interpret, amend, revise, and delete these rules and regulations as it deems fit as well as its sole discretion in order to achieve the maximum benefit for the event, its patrons and vendors.
This agreement contains the entire understanding of the parties and no oral representation not contained herein shall be binding to the parties hereto. It is the vendor's responsibility to be knowledgeable of the Rules and Regulations and space rental standards which are a part of the Lease Agreement.

Application Process:
The application process is done either on the website, http://www.mackenziesplay-house.blogspot.com, or via mail. Upon receipt of payment, Mackenzie's Playhouse will send the VENDOR a confirmation email notifying of acceptance. Booth locations are offered on a first come, first serve basis. An application does not guarantee a space at the event. Mackenzie's Playhouse reserves the right to deny any applicant and will accept a maximum of two (2) vendors that sell the same product. Once a VENDOR has been assigned a booth location there will be no changing of location allowed. Vendor’s who register for an entire month will be able to choose and keep their booth location for the entire month.

Booths:
All booths are 3’x6’ spaces. Vendors have the option of renting additional booths if a larger space is required. Vendors are responsible for display of booth including table and chairs. Mackenzie’s Playhouse will provide a limited number of tables and chairs for rent. These are rented on a first come, first serve basis. Displays cannot permanently alter the conditions of the space or the building. All sales transactions must be confined to the leased space and vendors will not display signs, posters, brochures, advertisements or solicit prospective customers in any location in the building except within the leased space. The vendor is responsible to maintain a clean booth space at all times. The vendor must leave the booth in the same condition it was in upon arrival.

Payment:
Payment is due with application in order to reserve the space. Space isn’t reserved until payment is received. Booth spaces can be rented up until 8 p.m. the day before the event. Vendors that do not pay before set up on Friday will pay a $10 late fee.

Booth Hours:
All booths must stay open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with some one sitting at the booth a majority of the time.  
Booth Fees:
Booths cost $40 per week for a 3’x6’ space. Vendors who register for four (4) or more weeks pay $30 per week. First time vendors receive a $15 discount for their first week. Vendors who do not pay before set up on Friday, pay a $10 late fee.

3’x6’ Booths - $40/week

First time vendors pay $25 for their first week.
Late registration vendors pay an $10 late fee.

Display Shelf:
A display shelf will be available for vendors, who cannot attend the boutiques every week, to display and sell their products for $10 per week and a 2% commission from each sale to provide someone to work as cashier for the display. Shelves are 2’x5’ and vendors can rent as many shelves as are available.
  
In order to be eligible to be a Display Shelf Vendor, you must:
  • only sale products/items, it cannot be a catalogue or order vendor like Scentsy or Mary Kay
  • attend the Boutiques in a regular booth once a month
  • be responsible for set up and pricing of the items on the shelf

Cancellation/Refunds:
Because Mackenzie's Playhouse will suffer certain losses that can not be determined, vendors who wish to cancel will forfeit all monies. Booth fees are non-refundable. As Mackenzie's Playhouse is providing the VENDOR a service, the VENDOR waives all rights to dispute any financial payments made including paypal and credit card transactions.

Set up:
Set up will be held Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday morning before the even from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Vendors can not set up past 9 a.m. All VENDORS must check-in with the Mackenzie’s Playhouse staff and fill out all necessary paperwork before setting up booths. Paperwork must be completed by the VENDOR and no one else.

Insurance:
Mackenzie’s Playhouse is not responsible for the loss of exhibits during The Saturday Boutiques for any reason. There will be security on Friday night and during the day on Saturday. The VENDOR is responsible for insurance to cover any loss.

Take Down:
No booth or portion thereof may be torn down or removed before 6 p.m. at the end of the event.

Animals:
All Animals, except Service Animals, are prohibited in VENDORS' booth area.
Sales Tax:
VENDORS are required to charge and collect sales tax on the items that they sell. If VENDORS do not have their own sales tax permit and temporary one will be issued to you for the event.

Agreement:
I, the Vendor, have read and agree to abide by the “Vendor Rules and Regulations.” (Make yourself a copy of the signed and dated “Vendor Rules and Regulations.” The original must be attached with your application.)

Should the action of any VENDOR require the cancellation of the lease agreement during the time of the event, the vendor will be required to move everything immediately upon notification to vacate the premises and will forfeit any lease fees.
